It was during the summer of 2022 that I followed a family of roe deer, spending each evening in the fields surrounding my Norfolk home.
 
It was a delight to see how the two youngsters grew and developed during July and August, watching them became the highlight of my summer.
 
In this image the mother deer and other fawn had wandered across the field from a favoured patch of scrub leaving one youngster behind happily grazing. Once it realised it's mother and sibling had moved away it quickly set out to catch up and rejoin the family.
