The arable fields around my home in Norfolk are a difficult place to find and watch wildlife. However, time spent quietly waiting reveals a host of creatures that thrive in this difficult habitat.
 
Roe deer love to feed on the ripe wheat and barley crops, and are always out and about at dusk during harvest time. This one could sense I was there but couldn't quite see me. It did that classic roe deer stance of standing tall and stamping it's front hooves forcefully on the ground.
