Bempton

RSPB Bempton Cliffs is one of those places that I have been visiting each spring and early summer for many years, and it never loses its magic. There is something special about looking out from the cliffs and having magnificent gannets fly so close that you could almost reach out and touch them. And yet, there is something otherworldly in their gaze. Their sheer chalk cliff homes seem so dizzyingly precarious, and yet they are complete in this environment.
